WILD SAISON

Farmhouse Ale with Brettanomyces (Wild Yeast)

(6.5% ABV)

THE LOW DOWN
The Wild Saison is one of the original Brett Saisons in package in Australia and is a Farmhouse Ale that has been fermented using our local strain of Brettanomyces wild yeast (found at our brewery) to give a more rustic & notable Farmhouse character. In our House Style, the Wild Saison is open fermented, barrel-aged and dry-hopped to deliver the ultimate in farmhouse experience with an abundance of texture, citrus and freshness. 100% can conditioned, this Farmhouse Ale exhibits strong citrusy characters coupled with a dry and spicy finish. Time to get a little wild!

BREWERS NOTES
One of my all time fave’s, the Wild Saison is a chameleon of a beer, when it’s young it has bold citrus hop characters however when aged for 6 months or more, the Brettanomyces yeast takes centre stage and delivers  characters of barnyard, leather and forest floor. You decide how you wish to experience it!
